Official visit by PACE President to Hungary

Strasbourg, 19.11.2009 – Lluís Maria de Puig, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will be making an official visit to Hungary from 23 to 25 November. He is scheduled to hold meetings with President László Sólyom, the Speaker of the National Assembly Béla Katona, Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai, the State Secretary in the Foreign Ministry Vilmos Szabó, and with the State Secretary, Head of the Foreign Affairs’ Office Péter Sárdi.

President de Puig will also hold talks with the members of the Hungarian delegation to PACE and will visit the European Youth Centre in Budapest, the permanent body for the implementation of the Council of Europe’s youth policy and programmes, as well as the Council of Europe Information Office.
