RESOLUTION 49[1]

on the earthquake in Algeria

The Assembly,

Deeply affected by the news of the recent catastrophe in the Algerian departments of France ;

Mindful of the spirit of solidarity in which member countries have offered their assistance in the past to the victims of similar disasters,

Appeals to the competent authorities of Member States to send immediate help in order to alleviate suffering in the devastated areas.
