Secretaries General meet in Brussels to discuss co-operation

PACE Secretary General Wojciech Sawicki joined his counterparts from the NATO and OSCE Parliamentary Assemblies, David Hobbs and Spencer Oliver, in Brussels this week for the latest in a series of meetings to discuss co-operation between the three bodies.

They held a wide-ranging discussion on the key political issues on each organisation’s agenda. They also exchanged experiences and best practices on a range of practical and administrative matters, including co-operation during election observation missions.

This was the third in a series of three-way meetings: the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly hosted an initial meeting in Copenhagen in February 2013 and a second meeting was hosted by PACE in Strasbourg in June 2013.

On 10 January, the three Secretaries General also met with the Secretary General of the European Parliament, Klaus Welle.
