Examination of credentials
Credentials Committee
1. REPORT
1. In accordance with Rule 6 of the Rules of Procedure, the Committee responsible for the examination of credentials examined those of the new Representatives and Substitutes appointed to the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe.
2. The Federal Republic of Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom have transmitted new credentials certified by their Ministers for Foreign Affairs.
3. (a) The Federal Republic of Germany has appointed new Representatives and Substitutes as a result of general elections.
(b) The Netherlands have appointed Mme. Stoffels-van-Haaften as full member in place of M. Korthals, who has resigned, and M. van Hulst as Substitute in place of M. Lichtenauer, who has also resigned.
(c) The United Kingdom has appointed Lord Grantchester as Substitute in place of Lord Rea who has resigned.
4. No objection having been raised, the Committee unanimously proposes that the Assembly confirm the validity of the appointment of the following Representatives and Substitutes :
