1. Decisions of the Bureau of 27 April 2018 requiring ratification by the Assembly

1.1. References and transmissions to committees

1.1.1. References to committees

The Bureau considered and approved the following references:

  • Doc. 14486, motion for a resolution, Teachers as agents for change and the fight against corruption: no further action;
  • Doc. 14489, motion for a resolution, The treatment of people with autism and their families: reference to the Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development for report;
  • Doc. 14490, motion for a resolution, Legal aspects of the prison conditions in Turkey: reference to the Monitoring Committee to be taken into account in the framework of the report on the “Honouring of obligations and commitments by Turkey”;
  • Doc. 14491, motion for a resolution, Defend human rights and the rule of law in the context of international football events: reference to the Committee on Culture, Science, Education and Media to be taken into account in the framework of the report on “Football governance and ethics: business or values?”;
  • Doc. 14494, motion for a resolution, Strengthening the role of young people in the prevention and resolution of conflicts: reference to the Committee on Culture, Science, Education and Media for report;

1.1.2. Reply after consultation

1.1.3. Modification of a reference

The Bureau considered and approved the following modification of a reference:

  • Doc. 14419, motion for a resolution, Anonymous donation of gametes: balancing the rights of parents, donors and offspring (Ref. 4349 du 22 January 2018): reference to the Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development for report and to the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights for opinion.

1.2. Composition of the Committee on Rules of Procedure, Immunities and Institutional Affairs

The Bureau, on the basis of a proposal by the SOC group nominated Ms Thorhildur Sunna Ævarsdóttir subject to ratification by the Assembly.

The Assembly is invited to ratify these Bureau decisions.
