The situation of migrants and refugees on the Greek islands: more needs to be done

In amendment 17, replace the words "paragraph 1, replace the second, third and fourth sentences with the following sentence:

"Bearing in mind that since the EU-Turkey Statement of 18 March 2016 the humanitarian and human rights situation in the so-called hot spots on the islands of Lesbos, Samos and Chios has not improved, the Assembly"".

with the following words:

"after paragraph 1, insert the following paragraph:

"The Assembly notes that, since the EU-Turkey Statement of 18 March 2016, the humanitarian and human rights situation in the so-called hot spots of Lesbos, Samos and Chios has not improved. It furthermore"".
