Examination of credentials of representatives and substitutes

1. In accordance with Rule 6, paragraphs 1 and 4, of the Rules of Procedure, the President of the Assembly has received credentials of representatives and substitutes for the fourth part of the 2019 Ordinary Session of the Assembly, which have been transmitted in due form by the competent authorities of member States.
2. The Assembly is called upon to take a decision on the ratification of the credentials of the representatives and substitutes whose names are given below.
3. Belgium has appointed a new delegation following parliamentary elections. One seat of substitute remains vacant.
4. Bulgaria has appointed a new substitute following the resignation of Mr Valeri Jablianov, and a substitute has become a representative.
5. Denmark has appointed a new delegation following parliamentary elections.
6. Germany has appointed a new representative following the resignation of Ms Katrin Werner.
7. Greece has appointed a new delegation following parliamentary elections.
8. Hungary has appointed a new substitute following the resignation of Mr Márton Gyöngyösi, and a substitute has become a representative.
9. Italy has appointed a new substitute following the resignation of Mr Carlo Fidanza, and a substitute has become a representative.
10. The Netherlands has appointed a new delegation following parliamentary elections. One seat of representative and two seats of substitute remain vacant.
11. Spain has appointed 8 new representatives following the resignation of Ms Olivia Delgado, Ms Miren Gorrotxategi, Mr Rafael Hernando, Mr Gerardo Pisarello, Mr Adolfo Suárez and Mr José Zaragoza and two representatives have become substitutes. Spain has also appointed 9 new substitutes following the resignation of Mr José Manuel Barreiro, Ms Sofía Hernanz, Mr Juan José Matarí and Ms Patricia Reyes and to fill the vacant seats.
12. Sweden has appointed a new representative following the resignation of Mr Jörgen Warborn, and a substitute has become a representative.
13. In the case of objection or justified contestation, the contested credentials shall be referred without debate to the appropriate committee, which shall report back to the Assembly in accordance with Rules 7 and 8 of the Rules of Procedure.
