The Assembly,

Being seized of the Memorandum [(2) Minutes of the 9th Silting, of 9th July, 1955.]of M. Bonnefous, the French Minister for Posts, Telephones and Telegraphs, on the subject of " European Co-operation in the field for Posts and Telecommunications";

Having taken note of the preliminary report of the Committee on Economic Questions explaining the present position of this matter and the results of the work of the Sub-Committee on Posts and Telecommunications of the Intergovernmental Conference at Brussels,

Instructs the Committee on Economic Questions to continue its study of this question, taking particular account of any developments resulting from the Brussels Conference, and to present suggestions of a practical character during the Eighth Session of the Assembly.
