No. 028 - Agreement on the exchange of war cripples for medical treatment

M. RADIUS to ask the Committee of Ministers to inform the Assembly :

1. how many war cripples have so far been helped under the Agreement on the Exchange of War Cripples between member countries of the Council of Europe with a view to Medical Treatment, which was signed on 13th December 1955 in Paris, and came into force on 1st January 1956 as between France, the Federal Republic of Germany, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom; and
2. whether the exchange of information, provided for in Article 2 of that Agreement, on
2.1. the medical treatment afforded to cripples in their respective countries;
2.2. the specific forms of treatment which it is possible for the Parties to give in their countries to the various categories of cripples; and
2.3. the possibilities of receiving cripples who are nationals of the other Parties,

has already taken place as between the Contracting Parties.
