The Committee on Culture, Science and Education, meeting in Strasbourg on 22 January 2001, under the chairmanship first of Mr Tiuri, oldest member present, and then of Mr Rakhansky:

-         on the basis of the decision of political groups, elected: Chairman: Mr Rakhansky; first Vice-Chairman: Mr de Puig; second Vice-Chairman: Mr Risari and third Vice-Chairman: Mr Billing.

-         decided to pursue its meeting on Thursday 25 January 2001 at 8 am (room 11).
