Refugees and displaced persons in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia:
§ held a Conference on this issue at the invitation of the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia on 5 June, with the participation of inter alia representatives of the Parliaments of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Commissioners for refugees from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the Republic of Montenegro and Kosovo, an important number of Yugoslav NGOs, as well as representatives from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Unicef, the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Stability Pact, the Council of Europe Development Bank, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Danish Refugee Council, the Norwegian Refugee Council, the American Refugee Council;
§ on 6 June, visited two camps of refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs);
decided to meet in Strasbourg (during the Session) on Tuesday 26 June (9.30-10 am) (following the plenary meeting).
