Reply from the Committee of Ministers
adopted at the 872^nd meeting of the Ministers’ Deputies (12 February 2004)

The Committee of Ministers took note of Recommendations 1640 to 1649 and Resolutions 1357 to 1366 adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly at its 1^stpart-session in 2004 (26-30 January 2004).

The Committee of Ministers brought Recommendations 1640, 1641, 1642, 1643, 1645, 1646, 1647 and 1649 (2004) to the attention of the governments of member states and entrusted them to the competent organs and/or committees of experts for information or comments and/or to Rapporteur Groups or the Secretariat, with a view to preparing draft replies. The Committee of Ministers will continue examining the texts referred to above with a view to the early adoption of replies. It decided to resume consideration of Recommendations 1644 and 1648 at their Deputies’ 873^rd meeting (17-18 February 2004).
