Supplementary report
presented by the President of the Assembly

1.         Following the examination of credentials of new representatives, substitutes and special guests appointed at the 1^st part of the 2004 session of the Assembly, credentials certified by the competent authorities of four member states have been transmitted to the President of the Assembly for validation by the Standing Committee acting on behalf of the Assembly.

2.         Following parliamentary elections, Croatia has appointed four new representatives to replace Mrs Feric-Vac, Mrs Bušic, Mr Škrabalo and Mr Torbar and five new substitutes to replace Mr Dukic, Mrs Glovacki-Bernardi, Mr Juric, Mr Kovacevic and Mrs Mintas-Hodak.

3.         Icelandhas appointed Mr Skarph�dinsson, former substitute, as representative and Mrs Fr�mannsd�ttir, former representative, as substitute.

4.         Irelandhas appointed a new substitute to replace Mr Daly, who has resigned.

5.         Russia has appointed eight new representatives to replace MM. Burataeva, Popov and Rogozin, who have resigned, and to fill five vacant seats. Eleven new substitutes have been appointed to replace MM. Galchenko, Gostev, Kulikov and Reznik, who have resigned, MM. Grachev and Slutskiy, former substitutes, nominated representatives, and to fill five vacant seats.

6.         The Standing Committee, acting on behalf of the Assembly, is called upon to express its decision on the validation of the credentials of the members whose names are given below.

7.         In the case of objection or justified contestation, the contested credentials shall be referred without debate to the appropriate committee which shall report back to the Assembly, in accordance with Rules 7 and 8 of the Rules of Procedure.
