Examination of credentials of Representatives, Substitutes and Special Guests

Supplementary report
 presented by the President of the Assembly

1.    Following the examination of credentials of new representatives, substitutes and special guests appointed at the 3rd part of the 2004 session of the Assembly, credentials certified by the competent authorities of four member states have been transmitted to the President of the Assembly for validation by the Standing Committee acting on behalf of the Assembly.

2.     Austria has appointed one new substitute to replace Mr Mainoni, who has resigned.

3.     Belgium has appointed one new substitute to replace Mr Ceder, who has resigned.

4.     Latvia has appointed one new substitute to replace Mr Kristovskis, who has resigned.

5.     Luxembourg has appointed a new delegation following general elections.

6.     Malta has appointed one new substitute to fill a vacant seat.

7.     Russia has appointed one new substitute to replace Mr Petrov, who has resigned.

8.     Spain has appointed Mr Cort�s Mu�oz, former substitute, as representative, to replace Mr Barquero V�zquez, who has resigned. One new substitute was appointed to replace Mr Cort�s Mu�oz. Mrs Quesada Bravo, former substitute, was appointed representative and Mr Curiel Alonzo, former representative, was appointed substitute.

9.     The Standing Committee, acting on behalf of the Assembly, is called upon to express its decision on the validation of the credentials of the members whose names are given below.

10.    In the case of objection or justified contestation, the contested credentials shall be referred without debate to the appropriate committee which shall report back to the Assembly, in accordance with Rules 7 and 8 of the Rules of Procedure.
