Examination of credentials of representatives and substitutes
Report
President of the Assembly
1. In accordance with Rule 6, paragraphs 1 and 3, of the Rules of Procedure, the President of the Assembly has received the credentials of representatives and substitutes for the second part of the 2005 Ordinary Session of the Assembly, which have been transmitted in due form by the competent authorities of five member states.
2. Croatia has appointed two new substitutes to replace Mrs Bilić, who has resigned, and Mr Mimica, who has been appointed member. Two new members have been appointed to replace Mr Jurica, who has resigned, and to fill a vacant seat.
3. Estonia has appointed one new substitute to replace Mrs Reps, who has resigned.
4. France has appointed one new substitute to replace Mr Ménard, who has resigned.
5. Following parliamentary elections, Liechtenstein has appointed two new substitutes to replace MM. Brunhart and Marxer. One new member has been appointed to replace Mr Büchel.
6. Sweden has appointed one new substitute to replace Mr Pehrson, who has resigned.
7. The Assembly is called upon to express its decision on the validation of the credentials of the representatives and substitutes whose names are given below.
8. In the case of objection or contestation, the contested credentials shall be referred without debate to the appropriate committee(s) which shall report back to the Assembly, in accordance with Rules 7 and 8 of the Rules of Procedure.
