The Committee of Ministers took note of Recommendations 1740 to 1745 (2006) and Resolutions 1492 to 1497 (2006) adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly at the 2nd part of the 2006 Session (10-13 April 2006).

The Committee of Ministers brought Recommendations 1740 to 1745 (2006) to the attention of the governments of member states and entrusted Recommendations 1740, 1741, 1743 to 1745 (2006) to the competent organs and/or committees of experts for information or comments and/or to Rapporteur Groups with a view to preparing draft replies for adoption at an early date. The Committee of Ministers adopted a first reply to Recommendation 1742 (2006).
