In the draft resolution, after paragraph 14.3, insert the following paragraph:

"continue to follow closely the situation in Crimea, in particular regarding the Crimean Tatars, with a view to ensuring their full enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms."

Explanatory note

There are clear manifestations of policy of pressure and intimidation against Crimean Tatars. Respecting the rights and freedoms of the Tatar community is essential for preservation of peace and stability on the peninsula. The international community should continue to closely follow the situation there.
