MOTION FOR AN ORDER

on the strategic issue of cable networks in Europe

presented by MM FOURRÉ and MASSERET

      The Assembly,

      Aware that cable networks are a strategic issue in Europe and anxious that this technology should develop harmoniously in all European countries, instructs its Committee on Science and Technology to study the cable network situation and propose measures to strengthen Europe's position in this field in relation to the United States and Japan.
