COMMUNICATION FROM THE COMMITTEE OF MINISTERS

Reply to Recommendation 1210 (1993)

on safety-critical systems

(adopted by the Committee of Ministers on 3 May 1993

at the 493rd meeting of the Ministers' Deputies)

      The Committee of Ministers shares the Parliamentary Assembly's concern over the reliability of systems that use computers in safety-related applications, and informs the Assembly that at its 492nd meeting (April 1993, item 6a) it communicated the text of the Recommendation to the governments of member states and to the OECD.
