SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT on the examination of credentials of Representatives and Substitutes

presented by the President of the Assembly 1

1. Following the examination of credentials of representatives and substitutes appointed at the 7th part of the 44th Ordinary Session of the Assembly, credentials certified by the competent authorities of five member states have been transmitted to the President of the Assembly for validation by the Standing Committee acting on behalf of the Assembly.

2. Italy has appointed a new substitute to replace Mr Speroni who has resigned.

3. Luxembourg has appointed a new substitute to replace Mr Konen who has resigned.

4. The Netherlands have appointed Mr van der Linden (former substitute) as a representative to replace Mr Aarts who has resigned.

5. Following the accession of Romania, their delegation consisting of ten representatives and ten substitutes has been appointed.

6. Sweden has appointed Mr Billing (former substitute) as a representative to replace Mrs Haglund who has resigned, and a new substitute to replace Mr Billing.

7. The Standing Committee, acting on behalf of the Assembly, is called upon to express its decision on the validation of the credentials of the representatives and substitutes whose names are given below.

8. In the case of objection or justified contestation, the contested credentials shall be referred without debate to the Committee on Rules of Procedure which shall report back to the Assembly, in accordance with Rule 6, paragraph 5, of the Rules of Procedure.
