      MOTION FOR AN ORDER

      on the setting-up of a committee on

      equal opportunities for women and men

      presented by Mrs Ojuland

This motion has not been discussed in the Assembly and commits only the members who have signed it

      The Assembly,

1.       Referring to Order No. 529 (1997) on the committee structure of the Assembly;

2.       Considering the financial and personnel implications of the proposal to set up a committee on equal opportunities for women and men (Doc. 7980);

3.       Instructs its Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights to set up a sub-committee on equal opportunities for women and men.
