Reply adopted at the 668^th meeting of the Ministers’ Deputies (20-22 April 1999)

The Committee of Ministers took note of the texts adopted by the Standing Committee, acting on behalf of the Parliamentary Assembly on 30 March 1999.

It has brought Recommendations 1400 and 1401 (1999) to the attention of the governments of the member States and instructed the competent Rapporteur Groups to examine them.

Concerning Opinions N° 211 and 212 (1999), it has decided to bear them in mind during its forthcoming budgetary discussions, notably on the budget for the year 2000.
