MOTION FOR AN ORDER

on procedure for an opinion on Russia's request for membership

of the Council of Europe

presented by Mr SEITLINGER

1.       The Assembly refers to its resolution on procedure for an opinion on Russia's request for membership of the Council of Europe.

2.       The Assembly instructs its Political Affairs Committee, Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights, and Committee on Relations with European Non-Member Countries to complete their examination of Russia's request for membership in time for the Assembly to debate the matter at its January 1996 part-session.
