Reply from the Committee of Ministers

adopted at the 639^th meeting of the Ministers’ Deputies (7-9 September 1998)

The Committee of Ministers took note of the texts adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly at the third part of the 1998 session (22-26 June 1998).

It has brought Recommendations 1376 - 1379 (1998) to the attention of the governments of the member States. The competent Rapporteur Groups have been instructed to examine Recommendations 1377, 1378 and 1379. Recommendation 1378 has moreover been transmitted to the organs of the Social Development Fund. A reply to Recommendation 1376 was adopted.

Opinion N° 207 on the draft criminal law convention on corruption has been transmitted to the Multidisciplinary Group on Corruption (GMC) for study when drawing up soon a definitive version of the draft criminal law convention on corruption.
