Reply from the Committee of Ministers

adopted at the 689^th meeting of the Ministers’ Deputies (24 November 1999)

The Committee of Ministers took note of the texts adopted by the Standing Committee on behalf of the Parliamentary Assembly on 4 November 1999.

It agreed to consider Opinion No. 214 (1999) in the framework of its debate on the request by Mexico for observer status with the Council of Europe scheduled for the 690th meeting of the Ministers’ Deputies.

It entrusted Recommendations 1430 to 1436 (1999) to its relevant Rapporteur Groups and Rapporteurs as well as to the competent committees of experts for consideration and opinion.

The Committee of Ministers took note of Resolutions 1201 to 1208 (1999) and of Order No. 559 (1999).
