Reply from the Committee of Ministers

adopted at the 752^nd meeting of the Ministers’ Deputies (16 May 2001)

The Committee of Ministers took note of the texts adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly at its 2nd part-session in 2001 (23-27 April 2001).

It took note of Opinions 224 to 227 (2001). It agreed to bear in mind Opinions 224 and 225 (2001) in the framework of the 2002 budgetary debate and transmitted Opinions 226 and 227 (2001) to the competent committee of experts and rapporteur group, respectively, for examination.

The Committee of Ministers brought Recommendations 1506 to 1515 (2001) to the attention of the governments of member States. It entrusted Recommendations 1507 to 1512, and 1515 (2001) to the competent committees of experts and/or rapporteur groups concerned for opinion or examination.

The Committee of Ministers held a preliminary exchange of views on Recommendations 1506, 1513 and 1514 (2001), and will continue examining these texts with a view to the expeditious formulation of a reply.

The Committee of Ministers took note of Resolutions 1243 to 1246 (2001) and Orders Nos. 572 and 573 (2001).
