The Committee of Ministers took note of Parliamentary Assembly Recommendation 1520 (2001) on technological possibilities for fulfilling the targets of the Kyoto Protocol (to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change).

It wishes to inform the Parliamentary Assembly that this recommendation was brought to the attention of the members states’ governments for them to take due account thereof in the framework of environment protection measures implemented at national level.
