Reply from the Committee of Ministers

adopted at the 773^rd meeting of the Ministers’ Deputies (21 November 2001)

The Committee of Ministers took note of the Opinion (No. 232), the Recommendations (1542 to 1544) and the Resolutions (1264 to 1266) adopted by the Standing Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly at its meeting of 8 November 2001.

The Committee of Ministers brought Recommendations 1542 to 1544 (2001) to the attention of the governments of member States. It entrusted Recommendations 1543 and 1544 (2001) to the competent organs and/or committees of experts for information, opinion or examination. It held a preliminary exchange of views on Recommendation 1542 (2001) and will continue examining this text with a view to the early adoption of a reply.
