adopted at the 795^th meeting of the Ministers’ Deputies (15 May 2002)

The Committee of Ministers took note of the Opinions Nos. 236 and 237, Recommendations 1553 to 1560 and Resolutions 1276 to 1283 adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly at its 2^nd part-session in 2002 (22-26 April 2002).

The Committee of Ministers agreed to bear Opinions No. 236 and 237 (2002) in mind in the framework of its discussion on Priorities for 2003 – Budgetary implications. It brought Recommendations 1553 to 1560 (2002) to the attention of the governments of member states and entrusted them to the competent organs, committees of experts and/or Rapporteur Groups for information, opinion or examination. It further brought Recommendation 1556 (2002) to the attention of the governments of the states which are contracting parties to the European Cultural Convention. It will continue examining these texts with a view to the early adoption of replies.
