Committee on the Honouring of Obligations and Commitments by Member States of the Council of Europe (Monitoring Committee)
In the draft resolution, paragraph 19, replace the third and fourth sentences with the following sentences:
"The Assembly remains concerned about the extensive interpretation of the Anti-Terror Law, which contradicts Council of Europe standards. It thus reiterates the call it made in 2013 for Turkey to further review its definitions of offences related to terrorism and membership of a criminal organisation, in line with the “Action Plan on Prevention of Violations of the European Convention on Human Rights” adopted by Turkey in February 2014."
