In the draft resolution, paragraph 15.3, after the words "would participate;" insert the following words:

"the new joint procedure of reaction should not reduce the currently existing powers, competences and prerogatives of the Parliamentary Assembly;"

Explanatory Note :

The proposed amendment is aimed at ensuring that the Parliamentary Assembly maintains its curently existing powers and prerogatives to the same extent as it is the case now.
