In the draft resolution, after paragraph 8, insert the following paragraph:
"The Assembly calls on member States to support the platform to promote the protection of journalism and safety of journalists with adequate financial contributions and by cooperating in its functioning, in particular by responding to alerts and by engaging in follow-up initiated by the Secretary General.".
