In the draft resolution, paragraph 2, second sentence, delete the words

"the circumcision of young boys for religious reasons".

Explanatory note

It wouldn't be appropriate for politicians to make comments on religous practices that have been observed by millions of Muslim and Jewish people for thousands of years. Male circumcision is recommended with plenty of scientific evidence, notably by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the World Health Organisation.
