In the draft resolution, replace paragraph 10.12 with the following paragraph:

"in Turkey, the recent suspension of the peace process due to the escalation of terrorist attacks, and the threats to freedom of expression and freedom of assembly."

Explanatory note

Accusing the Turkish authorities of the suspension of the peace process would be a shame for our Assembly in these difficult times when we should be condemning terrorism. The major condition of the peace process was the disarmament of the PKK terrorist organization which is not fulfilled.
