The situation of LGBT people in Turkey

According to the Danish media, two LGBT people have been brutally murdered in Turkey in recent weeks, allegedly only because of their sexual orientation. The Turkish police authorities have seemed rather uninterested and unwilling to investigate the murder of LGBT people.

To ask the Committee of Ministers:

Would the Committee of Ministers ask the Turkish authorities for a report on the murders of LGBT people this summer and for a detailed account of what Turkey intends to do to guarantee the human rights of LGBT people and to guarantee their safety.
