In the draft resolution, at the end of paragraph 6.3, add the following sentence:
“in order to combat online identity theft, there should be provision for the use of real identification, either by electronic signature, using authentication tools or by a trusted third party;”
Explanatory Note :
Online identity theft is a major topic. Greater use should be made of real identification including through a trusted third party, since not everyone wishes to give their real identity on the Internet.
